Taylor Allen (née Nickel) is an author and student originally from Wichita, Kansas. 

Her writing topics range from fiction to non-fiction, book reviews to research papers, and everything in between. She has previously published work in The Transactions of the Kansas Academy of Science, The Kansas Anthropologist, and Washburn University's The Angle.

Allen graduated from Derby High School in 2018, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Anthropology at Washburn University in 2022, and obtained a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology at Arizona State University in 2023. Allen is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Forensic Psychology with a specialization in legal issues in forensic psychology at Walden University.
